Back to author (by Editorial Office)

ComingWith soon! the button "Back to author" the editorial office can send the author the request to revise his manuscript. The email generated by the system contains already the reviewers' commentaries destinated to the author.

Please check subject, title and email text and correct or adjust it if necessary before clicking "Request revision".

If the mail is not to be sent out to the author, please remove the tick in the check box "Send mail to author".

By default this email is sent in blind copy (bcc) to the reviewers, but you can remove the corresponding check mark if this is not suitable for any reason.

With "Request revision" the process is completed and the manuscript is assigned the status: "Back to author for rework".
