Das Manuskriptverwaltungsystem von German Medical Science
Im Portal German Medical Science erscheinen verschiedene Zeitschriften (Liste der GMS-Zeitschriften). Alle Artikel in GMS erscheinen open access und unter den Creative Commons-Lizenzbedingungen. Innerhalb des Workflowsystems von GMS erlaubt das webbasierte Manuscript Operating System (MOPS) die Verwaltung und Archivierung aller Dokumentversionen eines Manuskripts von seiner Einreichung durch den Autor bis zur Publikationsreife. Jeder Autor hat die Möglichkeit, sich zu registrieren und sein Manuskript in das MOPS hochzuladen. Redaktion, Schriftleitung, Editor und Reviewer erhalten je nach ihrer Rolle die Möglichkeit, auf das Manuskript zuzugreifen, es zu beurteilen und neue Dokumentversionen einzubringen. Das MOPS beinhaltet auch eine vollständige Version in englischer Sprache, die je nach Spracheinstellung des Profils bzw. des Browsers aufgerufen wird.Der Zugang MOPS erfolgt über den Button „Login & Einreichen“ auf der linken Navigationsleiste der German Medical Science Website. Von dort wird man auf die Einstiegsseite des MOPS geführt. Alle Beteiligten im Workflow des MOPS müssen über einen persönlichen Account verfügen.

The manuscript operating system of German Medical Science
The portal German Medical Science includes different journals (list of the GMS journals). All the articles at GMS are published open access and distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons licenses. Within the workflow of GMS, the web-based manuscript operating system (MOPS) allows for the management and the archiving of all the manuscript versions from submission until the release for publication. Every author may register and upload his manuscript in the manuscript operating system. The editorial office, the editor-in-chief, the editor-in-charge and the reviewers are authorised in correspondance with their specific role to access the manuscript, to review it and to upload new document versions. The MOPS is displayed in English or German dependant on the language input in the profile or the browser settings.You may access the MOPS by clicking the button „Login & Submit“ on the left side navigation bar of the German Medical Science website. From here you will arrive on the MOPS login. All the actors in the MOPS workflow must have a personal account.
